Time Flies Like an Arrow. Fruit Flies Like a Banana...

Well Folks… It has been an interesting year! Sorry I haven’t updated this sooner, but real life gets in the way sometimes and I haven’t gotten out into the field or been writing as much as I would like. Ha!

We would like to take this opportunity to say we hope everyone stays safe and healthy out there. These are indeed strange times. Take care of yourselves and each other.

We are going to pick up the pace again with our news. There is a lot going on in the 9th right now and we have lots to talk about. We are going to take this opportunity to get some housekeeping done and a lot of planning. We also have a few surprises on the horizon. Check back for more soon.

The 9th Reenactment Society is a group of non-political enthusiasts of history. We portray combat soldiers of the 9th Waffen-SS Panzer Division "Hohenstaufen" at public educational displays and at private reenactments. We are not a neo-nazi organization, nor do we subscribe to the ideas, ideals, goals, or aspirations of any extremist groups, nor are we affiliated with any such organizations. For the hobby of reenacting to function, and to represent a true history, both sides of the conflict must be represented. As such, we have taken on the difficult role of an elite German formation of World War II.
